1. What HamoReply does
HamoReply helps users create, organize, and insert reusable text replies into supported website text fields. It is designed to make responding and writing faster while leaving the decision to send a message with the user.
2. Information stored by the extension
HamoReply uses Chrome's local extension storage for user-created templates, categories, shortcuts, and related settings. These items are stored in the user's browser and are not designed to be uploaded to a HamoReply server.
The extension may also allow users to import or export templates using files they choose. Exported files can contain the text the user saved, so users should store those files carefully.
3. Website access and text fields
When the user invokes HamoReply on a supported webpage, the extension interacts with page elements so it can display its assistant and insert a selected reply into a compatible text field. This interaction supports the extension's core functionality.
HamoReply is not designed to collect or transmit webpage text or messages to Hamotech Solutions. It does not automatically send messages on the user's behalf. Users should review text before sending it.
4. Data sharing and sale
Hamotech Solutions does not sell user data. HamoReply is not designed to transmit saved templates or webpage text to third parties. If future versions introduce services that change these practices, this policy will be updated before those practices are introduced.
5. How information is used
Information stored by HamoReply is used to provide the quick-reply, template organization, and related user-requested features. HamoReply does not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
6. Retention and user control
Templates remain in Chrome's local extension storage until the user deletes them, clears the relevant browser data, or removes the extension. Users can export templates if they want to keep a backup. Removing the extension may remove locally stored extension data.
7. Security
Keeping templates in local browser storage helps avoid sending them to a remote template service. Users should avoid saving highly sensitive information in reusable replies and should protect any exported template files.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if HamoReply's functionality or information practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised policy is published.
